Standard air conditioning and parking heater mandatory from July 1, 2021 according to the CLA Professional Goods Transport
In the new CLA for Professional Goods Transport*, it has been agreed that all trucks will be required to have a parking heater and stand air conditioning.
The new CLA will take effect July 1, 2021, if adopted in the members’ vote.
Trade unions FNV and CNV Vakmensen have reached a negotiation result with employers in transport and logistics on a new CLA for Professional Goods Transport.
The new two-year CLA, fully named CLA for Professional Goods Transport by Road and Mobile Crane Rental, runs from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022.
The CBA also agreed that all trucks will be required to have a parking heater and stand air conditioning.
These climate control systems work even when the engine is off.
* Note: At this time, members are still voting on the new collective bargaining agreement and the associated stand air conditioning and parking heater requirement, the results of which are expected around June 18, 2021.
