In order to achieve significant automation in their administrative processes, the company Mercom from Goor, Twente, decided to replace their current fleet management system with on-board computers.
To this end, they began to explore the market and, through our partner AST in Vriezenveen, also entered into discussions with Rietveld.
After an intensive pilot process, during which several systems and companies were compared, Mercom made the decision to equip their 40 trucks with the Efficio3 on-board computer and enter into cooperation with Rietveld.
For automated order processing, an integration will be realized with Art Systems’ TMS package Transpas.
In combination with the automated calculation of hours and expenses, using EasyHours, and the automated reading of digital tachographs and driver cards with EasyTacho, Mercom will realize significant efficiency improvements.
Using the data from the on-board computer, EasyDrive provides insight into driving behavior and corresponding fuel consumption.
