SmartVue DobliCam meets requirements Abbiege assistant
Some time ago, the German ABE certificate was awarded to SmartVue DobliCam.
With this, it officially meets the requirements around the Abbiegeassistent for LHVs in Germany.
These regulations require LHVs operating in Germany to be equipped with a blind spot warning system.
The system must warn the driver when another road user, such as a cyclist, is in the blind spot.
For new LHVs, the obligation already applies since July 1, 2020.
For existing LHVs, the obligation to comply with the regulations goes into effect on July 1, 2022.
Camera and detection in one:
SmartVue DobliCam is a camera and detection system in one.
It not only provides the driver with a view of the blind spot, but also provides a warning signal when there is a cyclist, pedestrian or other obstacle in the blind spot.
In addition to meeting the requirements for Abbiege Assist, SmartVue DobliCam is also approved for, among other things, the DVS regulation which has been in effect in Greater London since March 1
