This blind spot assist system replaces the traditional mirror and is available with a blind spot assistant.
The mirror is replaced by High Definition cameras that project the image in real time onto digital monitors.
Since July 1, 2022, all LHV vehicles in Germany must be equipped with a so-called Abbiegeassistent.
This system warns when turning when something is in the blind spot.
The advantages of this system are:
- – Always razor-sharp images, even in the dark.
- – Safer due to a larger field of vision in Class II, IV and V.
- – Cost-saving through lower weight and better aerodynamics.
