Personal mobility reporting requirement

What does this mean for your organization?

With the central government’s new reporting requirement taking effect on June 1, 2024, companies face the challenge of mapping the CO2 emissions of their business mobility.
In this article, we explain how Rietveld’s EasyTrack Portal 2.0 can support your organization in complying with this obligation and how we go even one step further.

Rationale: Why this reporting requirement?

The fight against CO2 emissions requires insight into the sources of these emissions.
The central government is therefore introducing a reporting obligation for companies with more than 100 employees to monitor CO2 emissions from business mobility.
This obligation not only helps reduce CO2 emissions but also encourages the transition to more sustainable forms of transportation.

What exactly does the reporting requirement entail?

From June 1, 2024, companies must have insight into how much CO2 their business mobility emits.
This includes all forms of transportation, such as cars, trains, bicycles and scooters.
The first report must be submitted to the central government by June 30, 2025.

    (if enabled)
  • Identification of the type of means of transport and fuel

More Than Reporting CO2 Emissions Reduce

Rietveld goes a step further by not only meeting the reporting requirement but also providing insight into its CO2 emissions.
With a link with the RDW EasyTrack Portal 2.0 can retrieve specific CO2 emission values per vehicle, providing more accurate data.

For existing customers, we have done the basic setup.
The report is very easy to download via the reporting module under the heading “Reports – CO2 Emissions”.

Additional Module: EasyDrive for even lower CO2 emissions

In addition to standard reporting from EasyTrack, Rietveld’s EasyDrive module offers the ability to reduce actual CO2 emissions through canbus data.
This is based on actual fuel consumption and driving style data.
With this data, you can receive driving style analyses.
This allows you to go one step further in reducing CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

Conclusion: working together for a sustainable future

Rietveld’s solutions enable you to comply with the reporting requirement for work-related passenger mobility.
Not only does it make things easier, but it also offers opportunities to actively contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.
We invite you to take up this challenge with us and work towards a sustainable future.
